Watch Recommendations
For those of you who need help in purchasing watches, I will make various recommendations here based upon style, value, and similarity to more expensive models. If you have any specific watches or styles you are looking for, you can ask me to help you.
The Edox Spirit of Norway is a wonderful timepiece that utterly evokes the nautical theme it suggests. I love the big date window centered in the top of face and the power reserve which is a very useful feature to have in an automatic watch. The power reserve tells you how much power is left in the main string thats indicates when the watch needs winding.
The Edox is technically a sailing watch even though it has all the features of a diving watch. Perhaps for the sailor who plans on taking dives, or the reckless one? This watch is a durable as it is legible. 500 meters of depth resistance is deeper than any bare human can go, and the carbon fiber inlays make the watch lighter than it looks. Do not dismiss the rubber strap for anything but highly functional. These are meant to fig snug over a wrist whether wet or sweaty, hot or cold. Rubber is the best material for this.
You can get this and other Edox watches here.
