I would like to agree with John – the site is really great. And this post about new Romain Jerome is great as well. A don’t think there should be less of Romain Jerome. Though the prices are heading to the Arctic from $200,000, the watches by this brand are really peculiar and original so it’s always very interesting to read about their new models.

Hi Ariel-

I’ve really enjoyed articles talking about brands I’m not familiar with (or don’t know much about). Also, often your watch reviews will get into details or facets (good and bad) I hadn’t considered before.

I hope I didn’t come across too critically. I like the blog and think its at its best when covering a wide variety of watches and watchmakers.

Hi John,
I hear you on Romain Jerome. I realize that they are sorta of freakishly high priced, and that I mention them a lot. I wasn’t going to talk about the latest one, but I love the steampunk genre. It just really fascinates me, and I think it is interesting that such a high end watch would actually brand itself with a term used by only a few people. Shows that they are looking into little niche cultures. I appreciate your comment though, what types of things would you like to see more of, or read more about? Take care.

Ariel- great site, but maybe a little less Romain Jerome? There are a lot of watches out there, including many that aren’t $100,000 and outrageously, shock-the-conscience disgustedly hideous.
