Dear Sir,
THE ONLY CASIO WATCH I HAVE OWNED THAT NEEDS REPAIR. THIS CASIO WAS SHIPPED (MY COST) & REPAIRED AT (2) REPAIR CENTERS AND STILL HAS ISSUES.
I cannot get the Altimeter function to work over a 24 hour period. My co-worker also has the same problem. Yesterday his showed -60 ft and today it is at +220 ft all from the same desk. My PAW-1500T-7V ALTIMETER NEVER WORKED even with the Casio Tech Center CONFIRMING the adjustments with my local temp / barometric pressure. I paid shipping to Calif. repair center that replaced sensors. I found on return that altimeter still continued to swing from -60 TO + 220 all from my location (which is elev. 33ft.) This altimeter will not work over a 24 hr period if you switch to any other mode overnight. I was told to send it to the New Jersey repair center & pay that shipping cost. Soon, received message that new Jersey repair center found no problems with my watch. Within ten minutes, I returned call and asked that they verified over a 24 hour period that it would keep a reasonable altimeter reading returning to me. I was told the repair center supervisor was on other line & could not talk to me. I left my number and asked if he could please call me back. No call from the supervisor, just an e-mail that my watch was shipped back to me that afternoon.One of my original repair requests to the California repair center was regarding the moon adjusting function which I assume has some relation to the tide function.The “high tide” adjustment will not remain on any evening (PM) settings, only daytime (AM). I know that we do have “high tides” in the evening. I love how New Jersey repair center just ships it back to you as if you”re an idiot with no information to offer regarding with your watch. Great customer satisfaction training when they feel no need to discuss your watch problems prior to sending it back to you.
